Hey there, how's it going? I know you can't answer that, but I have a tendency to write like I talk and just jumping right in feels kinda rude.

That being said, you’re probably here because you want to know something about me. Besides the obvious, I mean. My name's Avery, I'm a copywriter, that's a picture of me, I live in Portland, Stokes is my middle name, this is the work I'm most proud of, etc.

Unless you're here on accident and are actually trying to keep tabs on the other Avery Harrison. The (as of 2013) two-year-old girl whose mother snagged up averyharrison.com back when I was still printing t-shirts, DJing, and leading backpacking trips to cover the rent. If that's the case, I wish you luck on your somewhat weird quest.

But assuming you are here for this Avery—the one writing/talking right now—and you want to get to know me better, I think the work is the best place to start. After that, it's probably this video from 2014. My very sparse LinkedIn and the section below should fill in any additional gaps.
